Lost wishes...

Open this one up! You'll enjoy it! Here's a little story to go with the picture...

As I lay in the tall grass, I remember childhood wishes made on dandelions gone to seed. I remember blowing so hard to make sure every last little puff of white broke free and floated in the spring winds. If you don't get them all, your wish won't come true! I don't remember the actual wishes. Just general impressions. So many lost wishes unremembered! I'm sure I wished to be a princess, though I know there was more to the wish than that. I know I had elaborate scenes set up in my head of Prince Charming and happily ever afters. I'm also sure I wished for some material things, a new bike, a barbie doll. As I lay here in the warm spring grass I'm wishing someone would come say, "hey, let me mow your grass for you". Prince Charming to the rescue if you will. But as life has moved on, so it seems has my breath. Since at least half of those fluffy little white puffs are still stuck to the dandelion, it's just another lost wish. I get up and mow the lawn.
